THE
DEBUT.

Sixteen artists. Different backgrounds, different movement languages, one stage.

ASTC's inaugural production brought street and contemporary dance into conversation through a 90-minute ensemble work shaped by identity, vulnerability, cultural exchange, and human connection.

Built through collective creation and made possible by a grassroots campaign that raised $10,000 in under 20 days, The Debut introduced a company willing to take artistic risks—and invite its audiences to do the same.

THE MYTH
PROJECT.

What happens when the stories we believe about ourselves begin to unravel?

Blending choreography, acting, and ensemble storytelling, The Myth Project follows six protagonists through encounters that expose hidden truths, inherited patterns, and the tensions between who we are and who we've learned to become.

Through physical confrontation, vulnerability, and moments of connection, the work examines identity, power, and the possibility of change.

Supported by Brooklyn Arts Council.

REDEMPTION
IS A DANGEROUS
THING.

After a year of silence, she paid for another chance.

Blending psychological theatre, street and contemporary movement, dark comedy, and magical realism, Redemption Is a Dangerous Thing enters the uncomfortable territory of relationships, identity, belief systems, and the stories we construct to protect ourselves.

As characters confront blame, self-deception, and the resistance to change, dialogue reveals what they are willing to admit—and movement exposes what they cannot put into words.

Written, directed, and performed by Amanda Spilinga. Premiered in 2026.
